A Full PM Service — Not Just an Oil Change

Anyone can drain oil. The value is in what we find while the truck is up in the air and the wheels are off the ground.

  • Engine oil and filter change to your engine's spec
  • Fuel filters and water separator service
  • Full chassis greasing — kingpins, tie rods, slack adjusters, fifth wheel
  • Coolant, power steering, and washer fluid checked and topped up
  • Transmission and differential oil checked; changed on schedule
  • Air dryer and air system check, tanks drained
  • Brake and tire inspection — lining thickness, tread depth, pressures
  • Belts, hoses, and charging system checked
  • All lights and reflectors checked
  • Multi-point report so you know what's coming before it strands you

What Skipped Maintenance Actually Costs

Every one of these starts as a cheap fix and ends as a tow bill. We see all of them, every week.

Oil Left Too Long

Old oil stops protecting bearings and turbo. What a filter and oil would have prevented turns into an engine job costing many thousands.

Roadside Inspection Failures

Worn linings, a burnt-out marker light, or a leak puts you out of service at the scale. A PM catches these in the bay, not at the roadside.

Ungreased Front End

Dry kingpins and tie rod ends wear fast, ruin steering, and chew through tires. Greasing is minutes; a front-end rebuild is days.

Neglected Coolant

Coolant that's out of spec eats liners, water pumps, and radiators from the inside. A quick test tells us long before the temp gauge does.

Air System Moisture

Water in the tanks freezes in an Ontario winter and takes your brakes with it. Draining tanks and servicing the dryer is part of every PM.

Downtime You Didn't Plan

A scheduled service is a morning you chose. A breakdown is days you didn't — plus towing, a missed load, and a customer you may not get back.

In, Serviced, and Back to Work

PM should be quick and predictable. Four steps, no upsells.

  1. 01

    Book a Slot

Call with your truck and engine, and we'll give you a time that gets you back on the road the same day wherever we can.

  2. 02

    Service

Oil, filters, greasing, and fluids done to your engine's spec — with the right oil for the work your truck actually does.

  3. 03

    Inspect & Report

While it's on the hoist we go over the whole truck and tell you what we found — urgent, soon, and just keep an eye on it.

  4. 04

    Set the Next One

We log the service and agree your next interval, so nothing quietly goes overdue between visits.

Oil Change & PM — Quick Answers

How much does a truck oil change cost?

A full PM service starts at $375. What moves it above that is your engine — a big-bore unit holding 40-plus litres of oil and several filters costs more to service than a mid-range one. Call with your make and engine and we'll give you the actual figure before you book, not after the work is done.

How often should I service a heavy-duty truck?

It depends on your engine, your oil, and the work you do. Long-haul highway trucks go much further between services than a local truck doing stop-and-go city runs or heavy hauling. Bring us your engine make and your typical week and we'll set an interval that suits the truck — not a generic number off a poster.

Do I need an appointment for an oil change?

Call ahead and we'll get you in as quickly as we can. PM work is scheduled around bigger repair jobs, so a quick call means you're not sitting in the yard waiting for a bay to open up.

What else do you check during a PM service?

While the truck is on the hoist we go over brakes, tires, air system, steering and suspension, lights, belts, hoses, and look for leaks. You get told what we found — what needs doing now, what can wait, and what to keep an eye on. No surprise add-ons without your say-so.

Can you keep records for my CVOR and safety compliance?

Yes. We keep the service records for work we do, which is what you want on hand for CVOR and for an MTO audit. If you run multiple trucks, we can set up a maintenance schedule per unit so nothing quietly goes overdue.

Can you do a safety inspection at the same time?

Yes. We're a licensed MTO Safety Inspection Station, so if your annual is coming due we can do the PM and the safety in the same visit and save you a second trip.
